I have worked as a carer in the community, so I know fully the strain on caregivers to meet the needs of the growing sick nation. I have seen on countless occasions, how patients heal, feel safe, and stabilise emotionally, mentally, and physically when they are getting full attention.
We know by the ever growing wellness industry that the public wants different medicines.
Sadly, not everyone can afford the luxury of going on Instagram to book an Ayurvedic course or have a Doctor to treat them. This is why I am stepping in! As I believe we all deserve the right to have informed choices about healthcare, especially preventative healthcare.
Google prescribing illnesses is not the best solution for the layman, education on prevention is required, as prevention is worth its weight in gold.
Great minds from different healthcare systems, collaborating together for the benefit of mankind.
We need to be sincerely honest in acknowledging and celebrating the strengths and weaknesses of Ayurveda and Modern Medicine.
If we are in a serious accident, we go to A&E, for maybe surgery or other life saving treatments. If we are suffering with chronic health and want to change this; or want to maintain our health and wellness, Ayurveda is a great place to start.
Lets together create Trust, Connection and a Stable future.
I know hand on heart, healthier individuals create a more harmonious society. When people become empowered, they want to give back to society.
Ayurveda has offered continual healthcare solutions and has been practically used across India for over 5000 years. This medical system is the oldest documented known alternative healthcare system in the world. It even has recorded the very first surgeries.
Ayurveda has inspired many other philosophers and cultures, who have branched off and created their own versions of medicine, to suit their location diversity. Ayurveda still continues to inspire, as many of the new healthcare trends are borrowing from Ayurvedic knowledge. Modern science inclusively is finding evidence that actually conveys the knowledge of Ayurveda as accurate.
During the British ruling of India, Ayurveda was suppressed. Interestingly, from this time, we began seeing the birth of modern medicine.
Ayurveda is totally logical, and has stood its test in time, primarily because its principles are founded upon the laws of nature, which are unchanging.
Ayurveda has adopted sister sciences: Yoga, Meditation and Pranayama and Philosophy, for bringing about heightened states of awareness.
I make what looks like complex knowledge to a beginner, understandable and accessible and practical for everyday life.
In groups and a lecture/class room style setting, I convey wisdom that changes lives. With informed choices, personal autonomy exudes. A person comes to see how the healer is actually within them.
This means less burdening and complications of cardiovascular, respiratory, integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, lymphatic, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems.
My many years of practice, living in India, and learning continuously with world-renowned leaders of natural health sciences has prepared me for this role! I have mastered it all!
